Meet Lydia Nash

I invite you to imagine this: a skinny, adventurous, headstrong girl in the rural regions of Houston, Texas, taking a path to a very special place - a place where she felt "Blessed and Highly Favored." Many times after school, my brother and I would catch a school bus to visit, Mamma Littie's, our grandmother's, house. I loved going to visit Mamma Littie every chance I could get. She made us feel loved and welcome ever time we showed-up.

She took us in, cooked for us, and then sat me down between her knees to sing to me and comb my hair. I'd drift off into a  trance-like daydream that left me feeling blessed. In the morning, she would get us ready for school and send us off. Visiting Mamma Littie was a sanctuary that re-invigorated and fulfilled me.

Mamma Littie never specifically told me that I am Blessed and Highly Favored, but she had a way of making me feel and believe that I am. To this day, I know the truth of this. Mamma Littie helped cultivate, design and impact the person I am today, how I share my love and how I care for those around me.

After 17 years of marriage, my husband suffered a stroke which rendered him immobile and unable to operate his own business. I managed our accounts, our home and his health needs for the following 17 years. In 2000, my younger brother, Henry, died of lung cancer. Throughout the challenges of being a

full-time caregiver, and the despair of losing a loved-one, I relied heavily on my faith, while feeling compassion and empathy for people worldwide and a desire to help those who are struggling through difficult transitions in their lives. I feel passionately about the well-being of others and of how I can be of service to assist them to a healthier and wealthier path on their life's journey.
